How can I delete/enable my browser's cookies?
Answer
Some database errors are caused by cookies not being enabled or needing to be cleared. You might see an error like:
"Reason: -- unrecognized error. Please contact technical support."
"Cookies are not enabled."
Follow the steps below to enable or delete cookies in your browser.
Enabling Cookies
Chrome / Firefox
- Shortcut: Press
Ctrl + Shift + Delete
(Windows) orCmd + Shift + Delete
(Mac) to manage cookies and privacy settings. - Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security
- Under Cookies and Site Data, make sure cookies are allowed (choose "Allow all cookies" or "From visited").
Safari
- Go to Preferences > Privacy
- Uncheck “Block all cookies” to allow cookies from visited sites.
Edge
- Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy
- Set privacy to Medium or lower
- Click OK
Deleting Cookies
Quick Shortcut (Most Browsers):
- Press
Ctrl + Shift + Delete
to open your browser’s privacy menu. - Choose to delete Cookies and Cached Data.
- Confirm and restart your browser.

- Set Time range to All time
- Check Cookies and other site data
- Click Clear data

Firefox

- Open Safari > Click Safari in the top-left menu
- Choose Settings > Privacy
- Click Manage Website Data > Remove All
