How can I access JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association?
Answer
JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association.
Print ISSN: 0098-7484
Electronic ISSN: 1538-3598
The library has a full text subscription, 1998 to present directly through JAMA.
The best place to do a nursing/medical search that will include JAMA is the database CINAHL Ultimate (indexed back to 1962).
For indexing further back in time (to 1883) use the Discovery search, located on the library home page.
Additionally, the library subscribes to the database named SCOPUS. This is what SCOPUS will do for you: Let's say you found an article of interest from JAMA using the CINAHL database. If you look up that same article in SCOPUS, it will provide information about, and links to the articles your article references, and it will also point you to related articles.
